yeah at 18 i moved out just to raise my credit so i could get the car by 19, everything worked out perfect,,, i didnt even need a cosigner,,, it just sucks,,, and my credit went down cuz after i got my car i sqrewed up and stopped caring about all my other responsibilities

As far as "sore subject", save your money and buy another one. I have pride with my junk too, but if someone makes a joking comment about it, im not going to take it like that person wanted to upset me.

Same thing happened to me after my 1st deployment. Came home, bought all kinds of stuff, a bike, a brand new jeep, a 69 Firebird, then all my credit was maxed, and it took me 2 years and another deployment to get caught back up. Got my credit back up though.
