New member but I am a geezer. I've had this Camaro for quite a while, over 3 years and has been a great car. I bought it with 108k on it and a melted eng. Kid bought it from a local dealer and on the way home popped a hose and kept going. Fried the 3.8. Dealer did a refund and scrapped the car?? yard called me as they knew we were looking for a vehicle to put at our vacation place in south Fl. Bought it for a grand(other then the eng the car was beautiful) red with gray int. New tires..still ran..kinda so bought a low milage pullout out of Tulsa and had it delivered to my foreign car resto shop here in New Mexico. Popped the intake, valve covers, oil pan etc and found a pristine eng. Cleaned and put all new plugs, wires, hoses..all belts etc..and did the eng change from the top..simple. Now 3 1/2 yrs later and about 35k miles..it has never given me a problem..till now.Its minor but irritating. Put the key in, turn, no start..sometimes it does or not. key?? switch?? time to troubleshoot.
