Hey guys just bought an 01 SS SLP a few weeks ago and an issue has started occurring. The car cranks and starts first try every time but sometimes when I am cruising at low speed say in a parking lot the engine will just shut off with no lights on the dash indicating anything is wrong. At normal road speeds it doesn't happen. Anyone have any ideas or point me in the right direction?

 

Could be a lot of things,how many miles on the car? I'd probably have a good tech plug it in for codes after making sure little things are checked like battery connections.
I have the same car by the way,love mine a lot.

Nice car,should have a lot of life left in it.
I've done many mods to mine,it was 92,000 miles currently.
