Default Zerk fittings Chasis Grease 1997 Z-28

I was advised to keep up with "Chasis Greasing" from my mechnic because the car tends to squeek from normal driving. They said the suspension is still good but it sure makes alot if noises from bumps and dips. My question is the owners manual says to grease the chasis and the dealersalso recomend itbut I can't find any Zerk Fittings for a grease gun??? Do they even have them on a 1997 Z? Thanks.

Was this a stupid question or is greasing not important. No one in here has a comment?[&:]

Lower ball joints. Take the front wheels off an you will see them. There are only two grease fittings on the whole car. If the joints were replaced with permanently lubed type, then there will be no fittings.

Pete, do you have any opinion on which is better -- grease fittings or permanently sealed, and why?

TIA

I prefer the sealed ones, especially the good quality ones, because I am lazy. In the 4th gen Camaro it is such a pain to get to the fittings that many people don't know or bother to grease them. However; if you do a lot of driving on sloppy road conditions, the erasable ones are probably better since all dirt an moisture is blown out when new grease is forced in.
