As craby mentioned, check your wires if you haven't already. Make sure none of the wires to and from the starter are touching the headers. Since your problems started after you installed the headers, I'd say something may have been missed, left off, grounded out, etc. Retrace all your steps and inspect everything you put your hands on.

ya, it sucks. i have a shop that loves working on lt1s now. but the exhaust shop really f'ed me.with the money ive spend i could have bought a rebuilt 350); 1600 on tune up(plugs, wires, opti, waterpump, alterator, ignition) 600 on headers n y pipe. should i replace my new 200amp with a 140 amp and use the difference towards 373s?

Ooooh, you installed a 200 amp alternator, hooked it to the stock factory wiring, and now you have an electrical problem? That makes me say, hmmmmm...toasted wires?

there was the problem before, so stay with the 200 amp or go to a 140 amp...any idea on how much redoing the wires will be

Not an idea, depends on what if anything was damaged. If you have only one bad wire, you could run a new one to replace it. Do you have a wiring schematic for your car so you can know which wires are supposed to do what to test them?
