ok i have a 93 z28 and i was wondering that if i where to just change the muffler instead if getting the hole proformence exhost would there be any difference.

 

There should be a little bit of a diffrence in power and tone, but not as much as if you changed the whole thing.

 

He is right about the performance. Assuming that you currently have a stock setup. I would change the muffler if that is all I had money available to do. Whole systems are easier to put on than just a muffler in some cases.

 

ok thanks i dont have the money for a hole set up so i was going to get new tips and a new muffler
