the next thing i wanted to do was get new shocks and springs, i found these by edelbrock but im not sure if they will correctly fit, will i need any modifications EDL-33031 front EDL-34031 rear, and does anyone know of good srings that dont lower your car at all

 

I think you should givr Edelbrock a call and get the info from the horse's mouth. Personally I would keep the stock springs and put in a good set of Bilstein shocks and get excellent wheel control with a good ride.
