ps,when i mentioned "rs232"cables,haas,fadal,hitachi etc,they only refer to the cables/connectors.the connector that hooks to the scanner is a rs232 connector.sometimes the cables themselves can be internally wired differently for diff.computer applications for either a serial port or printer port.that is what ryguy is asking.
