What scanner should i get? I need to get a scanner for my 95 z28? Im not looking to spend a bundle this close to christmas, but i feel like i coul get something better then the actron model that the local auto store carrires. Just wondering what you guys use on the cars that have the obd1/obd2.
Any suggestions?

 

I too have a 95 Z and the Actron 9145 will read the codes from our cars as well as the OBD2 cars. You don't need any special cables

 

Ok how much infomation does that model give you? Does it just tell you the code that the computer has in it or is it like some of the better scanners? I have seen some that give you readings on each sensor along with other information..Is there a affordable scanner that does this?
