white specks in exhaust pipe

Default white specks in exhaust pipe

why??? there's just a bunch of random white specks in my exhaust pipes and I don't know why or what it means

well white means lean. have you scanned it to see if any codes arr stored?

Lean? Other than the specks, the inside of that pipe looks black to me. Have you wiped a spot off with your finger to see what comes off? Any chance those might be specs of corrosion on the pipe?

well I don't have a code scanner. and yeah it's definitely hella black like a bunch of sut and it comes off dark when you wipe it. not sure about corrosion though the specks seem fairly recent. maybe since i got the cutout installed but I'm not sure they might have been there before then

looks like ash to me the sut heated and cooled and heated and cooled and formed ash maybe just an idea

well I wiped it away, and what was left were little dark spots where the white spots were. and I looked at the exhaust cutout and there were no spots there, only in the tail pipe.

Sounds like corrosion to me.
