ok guys im planning on doing a LT$ hotcam. 2 things...
1.whats the best valvspring setup...ive heard double valve springs, and also ive heard LS6 springs....

2. tuning. would a stage 2 hypertec chip work? or

what would i have to do?

Don't do the LT1 Hotcam. There are better camshafts out there for that kind of money.

cc502 is a little better, cc503 is way better but head p&p would be advised. i like the cam & patriot gold extreme springs i got from elliotts.

I like this camshaft if you're going for a daily driver car.

Best way IMHO is take it to a dyno shop and let them tune the computer. Cheapest way is to use something like PCM4Less and order a new PCM with your cam, and other mods listed.

have a look here for the lt1. alot depends on if you are using 1.6 roller rockers. if so you will need to measure your pushrods and pick up some new ones.
