Default What adjustments need to be made after installing lower springs?

I have a 1995 Camaro Z28 and just installed Vogtland 1.2" drop springs. I did install a adjustable panhard bar. I adjusted the panhard to the factory bar alignment. Does the adjustable need to be readjusted again? I am assuming so... also i get slight shaking coming from the front end... i can feel it in the steering wheel and when braking. Can this be caused from the rear end not aligned correctly? or do i need a front end alignment bc i installed lowering springs? i just had a alignment couple last fall for replacing the outter tie rods. Any help would be appreciated! Allen

Did you replace the front and back springs or just the back?

yes you will need an alignment. Get a 4 wheel alignment, all alignment machines run the fronts adjustments off the rear thrust angle.

yes,

no the rearend on the 4th gen is not adjustable from the factory, can move it from side to side if the car has a adjustable panhard bar and can align if you have adjustable lower control arms.

yes you need to have the front aligned.

Lowering springs in front will change the camber angle, and lowering springs in the rear will cause the rear axle to shift to the right. As previously mentioned, get the rear axle centered with an adjustable panhard bar, and get the front end aligned, and have wheels balanced while you are there.

Default Thanks guys!

Thanks for the help... I'll try this and see what comes about. So if I get a four wheel alignment they should be able to adjust my adjustable panhard bar? Oh also the shaking in the front is from it not correctly aligned? It does pull to the left...

to adjust the panhard bar you just want the rearend centered. take a straight edge and put it on your tire and measure how far both sides are from the fender. adjust the panhard bar until both sides are equal. yes a front end out of alignment can make the wheel pull and shake. other things that make it pull could be is a sicky brake, low tire or a bad bearing. shaking can also be caused by a bad rotor, wheel out of balance or bad bearing
