Default V6 for 5.7l swap

I recently picked up a very low mile 5.7l tbi with fast burn heads and am going to swap it with my very high mile 3800. i dont really care about a/c and all that jazz. i just need to know potential problems that im going to run into and what i will need to have for the swap. radiator and hoses, motor mounts, etc. also i have a 5 sp manual (dont know the model) and plan on keeping it, new bell housing? and if so which one. part names/numbers would be a great help, since im more of a small motor repair guy my self. throw me a dirt bike no problem, but this project has me all messed up. thanx for the input. -Rob

You will need a new computer system, remember these computers tie into the ABS and VATs system,,, A new frame K-member. You will need to cut the fire wall out so there is room for the distributer, You will most likey need a cowl hood to fit the air cleanter under. You will need to make brakets for you power steering and alt... In short its not worth the work. Don't believe me go do a google search. See how many people ask about then look at all the photos of guys that have done it. If you do find any photos please post them, I have yet to see any.

The only decent way to do a V8 convertion is buying a donor car.
