Exclamation Urgent Pressure Plate Question

I'm in the middle of a clutch swap and really need to know if this is what a LT4 PP should look like. Look at the positioning of the teeth. They do not curve inward like many of the pictures I've seen online. It's the Valeo LT4 copy aka C70043.

The PP bolts have been tightened down but aren't torqued yet. I'm unable to pull on the throwout bearing and successfully move the disc inside at all.

The disc is in correctly, the hub is facing the flywheel (it's the only way it'll fit).

I finished the swap yesterday only to find that the clutch would engage at about an inch off of the floor at full force causing it to immediately stall. I pulled the trans today thinking I had the PP on unevenly.

I took the Valeo LT4 PP that was previously on my car and compared it to the C70043 knock off that's in there now. Unlike the Valeo, the 3 rivet-like structures aren't pushed down. I've done some searching and noticed that they should be flat against the metal on both the Valeo and C70043.

High resolution of my PP:

Possible defect? I'm thinking that because these structures haven't been pressed they're liked to the flat positioning of the teeth and stalling issues. I couldn't move the car 3 feet w/o stalling. It's grabbing way too soon and with way too much force.
