Default tune or no?

hello all, im wondering if i should get my stock z28 tuned. just got it 2 days ago and i love it but im just wondering if ill see a good hp gain off a tune. i also drive a 06 mazdaspeed 6 so im new to the naturally aspirated v8's but i love this car

Are you planing any mods? the factory tune is pretty good, But if you do some mods then a tune is worth it.

True, thank you. im gonna drop all my mazdaspeed 6 plans for now and focus on me and my fiance's z28. i really love this car

o and yea i plan on wider rims and tires in the rear. 17x8.5 front with 17or18x10
id like this car to be more of a road gripping cruiser that i can take to road courses

IF you want the car to handle, you may want to consider keeping the front and rear tires the same size. The car is heavier in front that in the rear, and if anything, needs more tire in front than in the rear to achieve neutral handling.

i understand where your comin from. i only plan to go +10mm in the rear tires. but im havin problems with 2nd gear revving up and not switching at all. and my 1-2 gear switch is noisy as hell
