since i got this car it wont start like it should when its cold. if its real cold it wont start at all. i have to use some ether to get it runnin. and on a normal start up in the morning it wont stay runnin i have to start it two or three times before itll stay running. and when it does stay runnin i have to hold on the gas for a min and itll sputter up and down like it wants to shut off. ive change the plugs and wires but that wasnt the problem. any ideas? it kinda acts like ya moms old school that has trouble starting on cold mornings that u gotta let it warm up for a min so it wont shut off. thats a good description lol

 

Low fuel pressure... Try cycling the key on and off a few times to charge up the fuel system. Turn the car "on" but dont crank the engine... listen for the fuel pump to shut off, the turn the key off then on again. Do this 3 or 4 times and then try to crank. If it starts then the problem is the fuel regulator or fuel pump.
