Default Trouble Starting....

Damn short posts.....car starts fine cold, once warm and sitting for a bit (off) trouble starting up again. Strong fuel smell after starting, sometimes dies on first attempt.

Changing plugs, wires, injectors soon, any ideas are appreciated, I'm thinkin fuel pump??

Thanks.

Fuel pump is possible... Most likely plugs and wires if it's emitting a putrid fuel smell. Check your ignition coils as well.

I agree on checking the coils too.
I think the problem is with your electronic spark control (ESC). Its getting too hot, and losing ignition. You need to replace it.

Even though it starts fine when cool? But that WOULD explain why it dies after starting with the fuel smell...

Bump...
Ugh, so it was plugs and wires, it started up instantaneously everytime after I replaced them, but one shook loose somehow so now my car is sitting at the gas station because it was shaking so much i didn't want to drive it...but i'll be tightening those in 4 hours before work.[:@]

Your spark plug was shaking loose? Like out of the cylinder? Losing one plug wouldnt kill the car, it be the same as a misfire.

Plug #6 was broken when I was putting it in I guess...but you were right, the main problem was the fuel pressure regulator, thanks again.
