im lookin to buy a 95 z28 w/ 46000 miles on it w/ an auto. it needs a little body work but thats all guy is askin $3000. my question is how much work and money would it be to replace that auto w/ a 6spd worth it or not???????????

 

Not worth it! Your 4L60E has a more agressive 1st gear than the T56 anyway, and it shifts faster than almost any human can anyway, so you'll run the same, if not faster 1/4 mile times with it. The only thing you get the bad end of the stick on is gas and maybe not quite as fun to drive, but c'mon, it's a Camaro, they're always fun to drive! I'm not sure about money, but for the whole package you'll need the tranny, pedal assembly, clutch, rear end gears, reporgrammed PCM for manual. Not woth it IMO.
