i need some new tires for my 97 z28 i was wondering what brands i should look at. the dunlop tires on there now suck. i wat something to grip better but i dont want a really soft compound tire. any ideas?

 

when my 94 was new it came with Good Year RSC Z rated, they were excellent on dry surfaces but terrible in the wet. I later switched to Good Year RSA Z rated, which the police was using on Camaro chase cars. These were almost as good as the GSC on dry surface and a whole lot better on the wet. I also used BF Goodrich Z rated tires and found them just as good as the RSA and whole lot cheaper from Costco.

 

before i got my rims i was running BF goodrich Comp TA's on my stock they were pretty good all around tires with great street grip.
