i know this isnt the best place to post this but i didnt know where else to put it. im not very good with eletircal stuff as it is so im lost. but the tail lights on my camaro are just acting wierd, iv got them all working how they are supose to, blinkers and such, but when i push the brake, it shines the blinkers bright. if anyone could help me with this id be much appreciated.

 

woops, i might need to add that i put newer style tail lights in there, im not sure if that would matter or not.

 

What year is the car? What kind of lights did you put in? Did they just start acting like that or did they do that as soon as you changed them? It's possible you need to rewire or splice something, but I wouldn't have a clue without more info.

 

its a 95 and i put on 97-02 tail lights. its just really cunfuseing me about that, would i need to get the wiring harness from that year moddle and plug it in to mine?

 

Nope. You need to rewire. I'd have to find the tutorial again, but it should be a simple fix. I went from 98-02 lights to the lt style, I had to add and extra wire and tap into another wire to get them to light correctly. That took me like 5 minutes to do. Since yours is going the opposite way, I'd have to look that one back up, but it should be a simple fix. The wiring is just slightly different from 93-97 and 98-02
