you cant really say this will cost that much. alot depends on quality of parts and price markup by the retailer also if a person does the job himself or hires someone to do it. we have many builds goin on or that are done to refer to if a person is willing to look. there are many ways to get to a given hp and many different costs to get there. i show a list of what i have in my build in my garage. thats part of what i see as the best part of a motorhead site, you can look at what other guys have done or are doing and take the parts you like ask questions and go from there.

I'm sure you read that there is more than one way to get it done and why I said all the variables of reaching one goal will always be different, and that's where the good non repeatative topics will be less learning how to get it done outside of the box can be helpful
The really sad part is nobody actually reads and is too lazy to search and you end up with 50 posts of the same thing and all the really good info never gets said for the fact the experienced camaro guys don't talk anymore or they get frustrated and leave.
This is a really good site and felt this post might boost this place a little . Shoot I have built cars running only 11's spending almost 20k listening to the wrong people and have ran 10.23 at 136 mph spending less than 6k listening to the right people so the point might be moot to some but beneficial to others who don't want to make the same mistakes

yah i agree in this day and age everyone wants it all spelled out in the now. imo learning is half the fun. lol, so why dont you write up a thread with the 20k way and the 6k way.

I had a 1966 Mustang that could pull 13.6 in the 1320. Not bad for a 289 and I am not ashamed to say it. It was a really nice car when I owned it and now it lives in the lap of climate controlled garage luxury from its current owner. Here is my last pic of the car, I am the goofy looking kid and next to me is my best friend Red.
Now as for the core of this thread. I agree with craby in that there are just too many variables to achieve what you are looking to do here. I would love to attempt to create this thread and I would love to have the resources to make it happen but fact of the matter is that most people that are posting here do not have the money or the time to build engines and test and tune, and then compile lists of what can be done with this and that to achieve XXX RWHP. It would be a great idea just too rich for the blood of most Joes that hang out here. I would guess companies like Edelbrock, GMPP, Roush, and all the other engine builders out there spend 6 digits per engine testing and testing until they bring a package to market, and that is with their own machine shops and what not. Think of the added cost if you had to farm out that work...
