Default speedo

I have just installed a glowshift speedometer on a '95 LT1 engine, but it has a 700R4 out of a '91. When hooked to one wire on the VSS, it will peg out at 140 rolling around in the driveway, and when hooked to the other it will do nothing. The LT1 computer is hooked to the VSS on the 700R4. How can I get this to work correctly? The transmission shifts good, just can't tell how fast I'm going. I'm using the B&M torque converter lock-up to control torque converter lock-up, but just not installed yet.

700r4 is the same as a 4l60 and u need a sender for a 4l60e that will work in your trany. u may find something at one of these places.
