Hey my SES light came on while I was driving home, I turned the car off and started it up again and drove a little bit and it didn't come back on. I was wanting to know if it has the codes stored so I can connect a scanner up to it? Or will I have to wait until the light comes back on? Thanks.

 

Codes should be stored. Possible that the car did something to throw the SES light and then corrected itself..but unlikely.

 

Code will be stored, whenever the light comes on regardless of how long it stays on the code is stored.
