lost my posi the end of last year. just one wheel spinning during brake burn. bought a new carrier ( brand name auburn, 100 bucks cheaper than eaton). putting my old ring gear on it with old pinon, new bearings. ive done rearends before, no issues there, first time with 7.5 f body type. problem: i punched that reluctor ring off the wrong direction and broke it. guess it only goes on one way, sort of tapered maybe. question: is it only for the abs? or part of the speedo? abs no problem i wont buy a new one as i took the abs module off years ago. if it affects my speedometer ill have to source one. thx.

 

Should only be for the ABS.
Speedo comes from the trans tailshaft.

 

yep for abs. get it tuned out when you get er tuned.
