Rear bushings/bolt
I took the rear end out of the car and want to replace the bushings and bolts. contols arms bolt/bushings, panhard bolts/bushings, swaybar bolts/bushings etc. jegs has a complete 150$ bushing kit but no bolt kit. has anyone used this kit or heard any bad things? anyone know of a bolt kit online.

be careful on which bushings you use the poly on. they can make the ride rough. ask at your local parts store and see if they can get stock bushings. here is a control arm bolt kit. woh,,,, 18 bucks for 4 bolts and nuts. Bolt Kit for Lower Control Arms
Can you use the poly bushings for the increased performance characteristics over stock rubber and change the shocks to help make up for any additional "harshness"?
I am just wondering because I am going to be doing the bushings on my '94 later this year, and will be changing the shocks out at the same time (everything is original).

If you're not an all out race car, then use poly bushings on the control arms to the diff and rubber on the body, you can poly on the panhard and it won't bother anything. This is the way I have mine set up and it's still a good ride. This was suggested by BMR when I got my LCA's. From what I've heard poly on the sway bars won't really affect the ride comfort, but I have no first hand expierence with that yet, I'm sure Craby knows for sure.
NAPA wants 42 bucks (canadian) for two gm bushings for one control arm. gonna buy the kit and will report back on the diff in ride. car is mostly drag raced with drag shocks n airbags n lowering springs in there right now. still not sure about what im gonna do about bolts. Are they grade 5? any tricks on getting the old bushings out? i have a ball joint remover kit that im goin to try, maybe ill try the vise first, well a beer first and think about it. thx for the input.
5000 miles later and no issues. put poly throughout the rear. rides great to me. no harder, stiffer etc. No better or worse is what I'm tring to say from stock bushings.
Used the ball joint remover, heat, drill+bit to get em all out. My kit came with new sleeves as well for the LCA's. Anyways, worth the $$. Didnt do the front yet. winter project.
