I would like to buy a usb cable that plugs into my car. what kind of a program do i need to read all the sencers?? do they work?? i just need wore info befor i buy a $60 cable and it dont work. this is for a obd1 car 93 camaro z28

I dont think one exists, that is a program that will read the codes for you. maybe though.

I am not sure what you want to read from your computer but i am pretty sure that usb is only gonna read codes that your car has had.

You need to get a OBDI scanner program to run on your PC, then you nedd a cable from your PC to the diagnostic connector. Search the web for software and cable, and make sure it is for GM OBDI.

ya i thought there was programs. I want to read my sencers and see what is going on and why i get such bad gas milege. i get arround 16mpg I do have a little lead foot but i dont all the time. and i just like to know if any thing is not working I found a program it was free idk if it works i have to buy the cable but it tells you the air / fuel and a bunch of other fun stuff.
