New guy here, but have been a guest here on the forums for a bit.
I recently purchased a 1997 Z-28 from my brother. While it was sitting at his house rats chewed up parts of the wiring harness under the hood. From what I can tell I have repaired all of the damage except for one spot. I can't find a picture or an explanation of what this wire goes to in my Haynes book. Can anyone help me out as to what this wire is for and where it goes? It's rather short and near the ECM. Here are two pictures. One of the chewed location and another of the wire on a donor harness I picked up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That wire sticking up by itself, in the new harness, is probably the fuel pump test wire. It is used to put battery power directly to the fuel pump to check if it working and putting out the right pressure, and as a test pint to see if the pump is getting proper voltage. Normally it just hangs there disconnected and does nothing.
