Got the 96 trans am right and was going to do a fill up for gas milage the internet says 15 gallons but i just put 18 in it and it never clicked did the camaros/firebirds come with a bigger tank in some cars?

 

they did go to a 16 gal tank but i thought that was in 98. i would say u had a emty tank. i have put a little over 15 before and i dont think i had more than a few miles worth left. u may have gotten ripped off by the station.

 

yeah some how got 18 gallons in it
