Default Will a '95 Engine Mount in a '94 Camaro without Modding

I have a '95 Camaro that needs repair or replacement or many parts of the body. To start off my mom wrecked it 3 days after I got it and now the the Back right quarter panel need replacing. The radiator, Right T-Top needs replacing, needs a new coat of paint, but the engine is in perfect condition. I don't really feel like wasting the extra money to fix it up. There's a dude in my area who's selling a '94 Camaro. It's looks great, has aftermarket pipes, interior is clean, The only thing wrong with it is the Engine is messed up, and he rather sell the car than repair it. He won't sell me individual parts, but his asking price for the whole car is $500. I have the money right now, but I afraid that the engine won't mount.

Will a '95 LT1 engine mount in a '94? Does will it require any modding. Do I have to swap transmissions also?

does the 94 also have an LT1? if so then you shouldn't have any problems. if not, then you will have to do a lot of modding, but most of that can come off your current v8 car

Actually my engine is the base LT1 3.4 V6. I should've stated that in the first post. Will I have to swap transmissions?

okay, a 3.4L is not an LT1.

the only LT1's that were called LT1's were either the 4.3L that wasn't available in a camaro/firebird, or the 5.7L which is the common engine you find in a few cars.

since both cars share the same motor, i see no reason why they can't be swapped

No such animal. The 5.7 is the LT1 engine. Which car is the real LT1 and which one is the v6? If you have the 3.4 v6 engine, then there are a lot of things to change such as the whole front cradle, engine, transmission, computer, and so on. What you would be doing is converting a Z28 into a v6 car, backwards of what most everybody else seems to want to do. Or are we talking the other way around?

MAN, wheres everyone finding these whole cars this cheap! I need a front bumper cover and fender and I would buy the 5-6 hundred dollar cars all day just for parts. Well one car but here in WV you cant find any. If you do find one without an engine its over 2 grand.

I apologize to everyone I offended when I typed "LT1 V6 3.4". I'm not to keen on things under the hood, as you can tell because I posted a simple question about the engine. I'm more of a interior and electrical type of person.

It may be because I live near a very big city in FL. Used things tend to sell very cheap in my area. Only payed $1200 for my '95 Camaro, It only had 100,000 miles on it. Was in good condition until my mom decided to talk on the phone and drink coffee at the same time. I tried ebay once, but the lowest listing wanted $180 for the T-Tops Glass. Don't know much about your luck. Also junk yard pricing around my area are almost dirt cheap. Walked out of one with a bumper, 2 doors, a hood, dash, for my moms '71 Oldsmobile 442 for only $270+tax. Parts for that car are very rare.
