QUESTION

can you actually spot the difference between an LT1 and a regular 350 without running the numbers?

If you can take an in depth look at the motor(er, in depth-ish) the opti is a dead give away. The intake is also a good clue to how the LT1 looks, other than that, it looks like a regular old SBC.
