Well it's confirmed the thing inside my tailshaft does turn and nothing is wrong with it
So can somebody tell what I'm doing wrong in finding the problem
Computer ? But I get code 24 when I let off gas
Wires? But I got voltage
Cluster? Turn key needle goes up a little and 93 ECM isn't like the 94 and up where the vss goes to computer then cluster?
Cruise is out also so computer isn't seeing anything
Other than that I can only think of is plug or these vss are not for this car

 

test your tps. should read .5 volts at idle and 4.5 at wot

you may be better off getting a gm dealer to diagnose it to see if the vss is working correctly. im thinking there is a short in the wiring or a bad connector or the speedo is toast. the tps may be off at idle and when you let off the throttle it sets the code.

 

Well the tps was a little off but now it's dead on
I agree with ya. Pay the damn 100 bucks and let them do it

 

I know this is old but when I finally figure it out no matter how long lol I like to tell my findings so if somebody searches the similar problem they will receive some info.

Well short story the whole time it was my pig tail to the vss from the computer!
I kinda knew it was it because I was still getting a code so the computer was good
I'm a happy camper now stupid plug mist have shorted or broke? The only thing I can think of was a bad tranny mount and bottoming out so much cause that's what happened I hit a construction dip not posted at 70mph and then the speedo quit 20 miles down the road later
