Default Post headers install question

So obviously the o2 sensors will go out, but I was wondering if I should bother to replace them. If I get a tune, doesnt it delete them anyway. And besides a code, what else do bad o2 sensors cause

you do not delete the front o2 sensors only the one/s after the cat if you have one/them. not everyone has the 02's fail after new headers, most do. you will know, car will run rich or lean and probly run rough.

the O2s wont necessarily go out, they will just register an error (which actually means they are working correctly) because of the new exhaust temps

no, because it wont fix your problem. You can either deal with the SEL (like i do), get it tuned out, or get rear O2 sims. I had them on my old mustang. worked great and got rid of the light.

my O2's bought the farm. datalogging was crazy. one moment it was rich and the next it was lean. Every now and then it would backfire. A new set of O2's, and then having Solomon tweak it a bit and it purrrssss like a kitten.....well, more like a growl with the exhaust

FWIW, I only have 2 O2's. I'm still looking for my cat conv but had to install an ORY until I can locate it.

torque, u know that the narrow bands will peg rich and lean over and over again as they bounce around stoich.. you cant datalog narrowbands and get any useful information. going rich and lean isnt an indicator of the o2 going bad, that is just what they do. They know when they are right on, and when they are low or when they are high... but as far as how much high or low they have no idea
