In addition to new wires, you might consider the fiberglass boot protectors. They will make you new wires last longer around those headers.
The red wires will add 50 rwhp...

Thats not what i meant. I mean they are a good deal for 25 bucks not that they will make his car faster. Im a rice free person. The closest thing I've even driven to rice was a chevy s-10 with a 4 banger. And im definately not the guy who thinks that a body kit makes your car faster or that a cai really adds what the manufacturer says, and that the fast and the furious series is the holy bible of car movies. Jegs had these wires that they call Red Hot Pow'r Wires, which means nothing except that they are red, and they were available for a good price.

They should because they are thicker.

#1 they should resist heat about the same because the wire is thicker not the insulation. the difference is the jegs wires have less resistance, which is not a good thing in this case. The resistance in the wires keeps it from pre-firing and burning your valves. yea its a fraction of a second but it makes a ton of difference. I put ACDelco wires on mine. its exactly what was speced for the car. the resistance on the bosch plugs is a fraction off so it wont make a difference, while the jegs wires being a few ohms off can scorch valves or cause misfires. Now being new I know this from my old GM truck. So please someone double check me, cause I could be wrong, this is also a completely different car.

Just go ahead and get ready, this is what my MPG's post turned into last weekend. I spent 10 hours doing plugs and wires. Let me make this easy. Take it in and have someone else do it. OR Take off the alternator, and you may want to loosen the bracket that holds it on cause re running those wires was hell on wheels.
