so im putting a new opti in i got it all riped apart and the old one off.... now my new one is a "jegs" opti for my 94 camaro is there somthing that has to be lined up or do i just slap the new one on???? lol thanks guys!

 

The splined shaft has one wide notch/spline, so it only lines up and goes in one way. Don't force it on.
