Ok so im pulling the heads of the ol z28 this weekend. Im farily certian thats whats been causing my overheating issues. Im 90 percent sure that i will be ordering a comp cam probably the the cc503. What supporting parts do i need and where should i get them? I have heard good things about pac springs. What do you guys use?

may want to have the heads done, check out elliotts portworks. http://www.elliottsportworks.com/lt1.html 1218 beehive springs and good retainers would work. you gona use 1.6 roller rockers?

a spring kit(i have the crane kit but you can't get that anymore. patriot makes good springs too)
i'd go 1.6 rockers(preferrably something from comp cams)
pushrods(you will have to measure to get the correct length. get something that's hardened)
that should be all taht i can think of aside from supporting mods such as headers, exhaust and CAI
