OMFG Please Help

Default OMFG Please Help

I have a 94 Z28, and my problem is it will not start, it wont turn, I have power. I replaced the Dist cap and rotor and put a new module on it, the batery is good, all fueses are good. So I haveno idea. It just died on me one day and would not turn after that. Any help would be awesome.

could be the starter, does the starter spin at all when you try to start it ?

If it's not turning over, then either 1) your engine is locked up, 2) starter and/or solenoid is shot, or 3) the power to <----2) is not there. You say the battery is good, so it should only be one of those things.

Are you getting a security lite. If so that is your problem, and the car will be dead till it is fixed. Otherwise, check to see that you are getting continuous 12 volts where the battery cable connects to the starter. If that is good check for 12 Volts at the starter solenoid (small Purple wire)when the key is turned to start. If you are good on both tests then the starter is bad. If no volts at solenoid, work back towards the ignition switch. Check the "theft deterrent relay if you have VATS, check the neutral safety switch (auto) or the clutch start switch (manual) (yellow wire). Check crank fuse (inst panel fuse 16), Check ignition switch (yellow wire)

The engine is not locked up, but I looked at it and I think its the starter. Thanks for the help.

Good Battery no power, check your ground before anything.....
