Default Is this the oil pressure switch?

Dang it, what is this that I just broke? I was trying to remove my trans to do a rear main seal leak and I accidently broke this. Also can anyone tell me how to get to the upper trans to engine bolt on the passenger side? Do you need a 3' extension? My vehicle is a 94 lt4 4l60e trans

Yes, that is the oil pressure sensor switch. This item also has contacts that feed power to the fuel pump. Official name "Sensor Assembly, Fuel Pump and Engine Oil Pressure Indicator Switch".

Take the tranny Crossmember out, this should allow the engine to drop enough to get the bolt out.

Yep. Just unscrew the old one out and put the new one in.
