oil pan gasket help

Default oil pan gasket help

so i was having trouble pulling out my oil pan out and i could not get it out past the the trans with motor mount thru bolts out and the motor pulled up as far as it goes the only thing i didnt do is un bolt the headers should i have or is this not the problem i have a 95 Z28 M6 so any help is welcome cuz i have to pull the pan out so i can check it to make sure it is not messed up and so i can clean it

u need to turn the motor over so the counterweights on the crank shaft are in a position so not to get in the way. i assume u got the starter, dipstick, oil level sensor out and all the other crap out of the way.,

its a tight fit but itll come out. been there done that. i did have to unbolt the y pipe and let it down a little but do u have one.

you may have to drop the trans a little

i thought about that but it would have let the back of the motor down and the pan has to come out the stearn side. i was stuck to until i read in the book about turning the motor over.
