i have a 3600 stall in my car and its very streetable. i also changed gears. granted i did lose some gas mileage but i wasn't too concerned. that's how i'd do things, to each their own though. slvr, when are you going to get crazy with that car? i expected heads and cam by now!

*sigh* I decided I needed something a little better in the snow and that did a little better on gas. We'll see how the funds pay out next summer, but this summer a Subaru engine swap is in the works

If I were you Jarren95z I would go with the cat back and headers and then I would get a good set of heads or at least get the stock ones ported with a LT4 intake before I started messing with the internals.

The ONLY difference between the LT4 and the LT1 intake is the color and the LT4 intake runners are raised 0.10" to accommodate the LT4 heads. Don't waste your money on the the Edelbrock intake, you can get the same flow numbers by port matching the intake to the heads and porting it out to accommodate a 58mm TB.
