for some reason i am having a hard time finding the casting numbers for the 5.7 ltr lt1 block. i have heard the last 3 numbers should be 327, is this correct i dont want to get the baby lt1. i am told the motor is out of a caprice. also is it true you can port the cast iron heads more then the aluminum ones thanks

 

im pretty sure it is 5327 5.7, check ls1tech.com someone just posted something up about this
