Have you done any mods? I had a gasket go bad with my headers that caused an exhaust leak that started to sound like a chirp. Usually a chirb is going to be a slipping piece of rubber (serpentine belt) or air getting in/out when it's not supposed to be. I would suggest pulling your serpentine belt and checking all the idler pullies spin easily as well as the alternator. If all that checks out make sure all the bolts in your exhaust manifolds are tight (or all there). You could also check for vaccume leaks, possibly in the intake elbow after the MAF, if you have unmetered air getting into the motor it's going to cause it to not run right.

I am not saying that this is the case, but a seized roller on a roller lifter cam make an awful screeching sound. As some one said on another thread, it is difficult to diagnose a noise problem without actually hearing it.
