ummmm... right . i got a 92 rs and it wont go. it'll start and then wont idle or anything. i thiught the pump might have been bad so i replaced it, tsss that didnt work. then i rebuilt the tbi, i went through and cleaned everything and put new gaskets on, well that shiz didnt work either. its still pullin the same crap. so i replaced the map sensor and it still dont work so if anyone can help me it'd be great.

 

you really need to clarify what its doing after starting

 

Though you didnt say but does it act like its trying to start but wont idle? Have you checked the IAC valve? IAC meaning...Idle Air Control valve. This valve is one of the things thats responsible for maintaining idle speeds when engine is cold or when loaded down by AC which would require higher idle speeds when idling.

 

i took the air filter off and looked at it and the injectors will spray for bout 1 second then everything just stops like its starving for gas but it has half as tank

 

have you checked all your electrical connections? I have a 95 Celebrity boat with a TBI 350 that was doing the samething as your saying now. After checking everything first other than the wiring connections I was lost. I finally checked all the electrical connections. After pulling all connections off and cleaning them and reconnecting them my problem went away. So it turned out just to be a bad connection. Not saying thats what you have here but dont rule out even the simpliest things.

Check your fuel pump relay. It it is good take a look at your oil pressure sensor, as it provides the electrical path to the fuel pump after the engine starts. If the sensor is no good the engine will start and then stop.

 

Have you checked your fuel pressure? Maybe you have a clogged or kinked fuel line. and are all the injector connectors on the right injectors? don't know if it will help.
