Default What's Wrong

I have a 95 3.4 5 speed. When i press the gas it will rev up before it catches. ex. i press gas when im in gear and it will rev up to like 4000 rpms then drop to 2000 and catch before it starts pulling. thanks in advance

Looks like your transmission is slipping. Check the fluid level, and if good you could try a fluid change. Otherwise it looks like a transmission rebuild is needed.

It's a 5-speed; the clutch is toast.

^^^ yep clutch and or pressure plate is toast.

i just replaced the slave and master cylinder. the part that u bolt the slave cylinder onto (i believe the bellhousing) snapped off, so i gotta replace that now.

Just so you know you will still need to replace the clutch. A failed or broken Slave/master cylinder will not cause the clutch to slip it wil cause the clutch to not disengage.

so like 150 for the parts. how hard is it to put in a clutch
