Default Need help with optispark please?

I'm sure that someone has covered this before in some post, hopefully somone won't mind coveringit again. '95 firehawk,46k miles, stock, 6-speed, problem: develops miss after 5-7 min of idle will miss badly with slight back fire under load, more than 65% throttle and it wakes up runs great. Go back to lower throttle runs like crap again. only code I ca get out of it is 29 and the scanner also said EAS electrical fault? code 29 is for the iac which I do not think will cause my miss. Already replace cap and rotor (pain in the butt!) What next? HELP! sorry sometimes my n button does not work and it is a pain to go back in this. Thanks for any help!

sometimes the cap and rotor wont completely fix the problem, it could have bad electrical problems, you may need to replace the wiring harness for the optispark, have you replaced the plugs and wires yet ?

i dont know where my obd1 code book is, but i dont think there is a code 29

I had the same problem my air pump was shorting out look at the fuses under your hood and check the smog pump fuse. Then after i found out that it still ran like crap and then it stoped running all together. I found out that the smog pump shorted out the computer and i needed a new computer. Idk just something to look at i guess.
