Read this, it's pretty informative: http://home.comcast.net/~grayman99/media/4l60e-controls.pdf
If you're going to replace one solenoid, you might as well do them both while it's apart.
They're both the same age/usage, and the second one could be not far behind from failing.

so if i removed the egr i should be good...

i tested the solenoids the work i also tested the connectors and im getting power... im thinking this means the trans may be dying but why would it work fine one min and the next not at all i didnt hear any loud noises the car wasnt making any weird shakes or vibrations i wasnt beating on it just a cruse around the block (the highest rpm was prob 3000)

Has the car been sitting for a while? Sometime the seals will get hard during extended sitting. They will work a few times but then they crack. Once the seal cracks the clutch pack is done. No warning, no noise.

the 4l60e is in everything with a vortec motor there in pretty much most GM trucks

so im looking into rebuilding and the prices of kits are all over the place... i want a stock kit (trying to save a little money this is a budget build) so i checked out ebay and found this kit
ALTO 4L60E REBUILD KITw/TRANSTEC AND HI-ENERGY FRICTION | eBay
now i went online and ppl talk pretty good about this company

Ehhhh, since this trans problem came about so fast, have you checked all your fuses to make sure none have blown?
