Ok guys now i need some help. I have let my camaro sit since my little problem and just for the hell of it i went outside today and desided to see if it would start and it fired right up has good oil pressure and no knock. If you give it a little gas it starts to vibrate again and starts to lose oil pressure but as soon as u let off the gas the vibration stops and has good oil pressure. My question is do you think that its just the oil pump going bad and will the oil pump going out cause the vibrations that its making. I hope that all thats wrong with it is just the oil pump because i have alot of money in this engine and would hate for it to be something that cannot be fixed. Please give your opinions thanks

check the wires down by the clutch peddle. you have an ignition switch down there on the steering coluum. test the fuel pressure. whats the gas gage say, are you sure you didnt run outa gas.

somehow there has been some confusion in what happened. the car has never shut off, not once, the issuse is that it lost oil pressure and started vibrating, the only way the car shuts off is if i turn the key off, before it had oil pressure at higher rpms and now it has oil pressure at lower rpms, the car will sit there and run all day long if i wanted it to
