lol i saw that epic argument on one of the threads between u and him. i died laughing the entire time.
*EDIT*
anyways man, take it to the shop so they can do all of the extremely hard work for you. they work there for a reason, they know what to do, professionally. u know better than to listen to some people. lol. good luck and keep us updated on the build if u decide to stick with it

the machine shops definately know how to build motors its almost there job just find a good one. the things they do different from how I/other people would is things like how they torque down bolts they wil do them starting at the spec required rather than startin at a lower torque and working up.

oh definatly staying with it i just need to start saving the money now to do it and read up some more on it to make sure i know what all needs to be dont cause if i do the motor i need to know if my reat can handle it if my drive shaft can handle it and of course change out my clutch set up to something beafyer but yea it is in the works now found a eagle cam for 260 prolly going to buy it fri of next week then the rods and so forth the most exspensvie item i see so far is the damn heads and cam package
but yea rolling auto is prolly one of the best speed shops around here unless i wanna drive over 100 miles to get someone to do it but the do do good work i know i had them do work on my old (laugh if you want) zx3 the changed the head cams and gears and i had no problems with it hell damn thing still runs now and my lil bro is driving it like he stole the sob

Well I would use Scat on my old Volkswagon sand rail. It says Callies is made here and there is Howards in Winsconsin. But I got mine through ProComp electronics, straight from China. And I will be the first person to put my hands on it. I would just make sure it is 4340 forged, it is Brand New, and have it checked.

there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with eagle forged cranks...not the absolute best you can choose, but nothing wrong with eagle forged cranks. scat also make a pretty quality middle of the pack crankshaft. ohio crankshaft is someone else to look into...but if it were me, best of the best goes in my engine and callies all the way

The reason I don't like Eagle stuff is because when I googled Eagle while reaserching cranks I kept getting beautiful pics of our nations symbol. Then when I read Eagle's website I was very impressed and put a kit together. So I called them and the guy said he does not sell to the public and their stuff was made overseas.
