ok i'm new to this site so take it easy on me lol. heres the problem my buddy and i just finshed swaping engines out of my old 94Z into my new 94Z i drove it home and every ting was fine til it ran out of gas now it wont start it cranks great sometimes sputters but still wont start. i thought that maybe it was the fuel filter but i changed it and still nothing. someone told me maybe its the fuel pump or maybe jumped time on me if ANY ONE has an idea please let me know i'll try almost anything at this point.i got three weeks til my baby boy is born and its the only car i have so im a lil worried right now PLEASE HELP!!!

 

try spraying starting fluid into the throttle body then close it back up and then try to start it. do this a few times if it doesnt start on first try.
when you turn your key to the forward acc do you hear a light humming coming from the rear? if you dont hear any sound then your fuel pump might be the problem. hope this helps good luck.

 

I don't know if this will help, but i have heard if you run a fuel injected motor out of gas sometimes it will vapor lock. I'm not real sure on how to fix this if this the problem. So good luck and i hope this fixes it. And by the way congratulations on the new baby!

 

hey thanks for the info i brought someone home from work one day to see if he could help me and the car started rite up he thinks i flooded it but it dont matter as long as it runs good. oh yeah wishmaster thank you very much its a baby boy he'll be born on 8-10-05 just a few days i cant wait. thanks alot for the info you two at i know someone on this site reads these things.
