Believe it or not. I got all 3 of them from the top by removing the alternator and having my brother lend me a second set of hands. I got it all put back together, 10 hours later... I'm getting a ton, and I mean a ton more power. Power will equal mpg's whether or not it's the ammount I want, is yet to be determined. Thanks for the help all.

did you double check to make sure there are no wires close or in contact with the exhuast. yah most of these cars the #8 plug hardly ever gets changed. both z28 s ive had the pleasure of changing plugs in had what looked to be original plugs in the 8 hole. both times they ran way better. lol, the gap on em was huge. so how did the old plugs look, color and age?

Tied everything, that didn't have factory clips, with zip tues behind the heat shields. It's all back to where they were as I pulled them out. The driver side plugs were rough, carbon covered obviously worn, but id put them back in over the ones on the passenger side. Every single one had the core exposed, and a mound of carbon around it. I currently have a carbon treatment marinating, i should be able to blow the rest of the mess out first thing in the morning. I don't know what everyone uses hear but I've sworn by seafoam ever since high school tech class, we ran it through half of a motor and then tore it down and it's just jaw dropping how clean it got. I'll post some more info about how the mpg's have adjusted in about a week. I'm going out of town on business tomorrow.

if you used expensive plugs you may want to change/switch them while the engine cleaner is being used. running cleaner through the motor can foul the plugs. not always but if you got 50 bucks into plugs may be worth it. have you looked at the 02 sensors yet? they may also be fouled, use the seafoam first before changing them.

Where can you find a how-to for replacing 02 sensors on a '95 camaro Z28?

fairly simple. take the old ones out put the new ones in. they do make a 02 sensor socket that makes it a bit easier to get the hard ones. dont ground or touch to volts the wires to the new sensors. the sensor wire will fry the 02 sensor if grounded or touched to 12 volts. the other two or three wires are for the sensor heater and dont need to be worried about. i just make it a point to not get careless with any of them.
