more rubber on the road
I am building out my 94 z28, putting an LT4, boring it out to over 400CI, roller rockers, upsize the valves, performance cam, pistons, crank, oil pump, injectors, eldelbrock intake airgap for the lt4, 58mm dual throttle body, 3inch exhaust after performance headers, reprogramming the computer for all the upgrades.
I need to get tires and rims now after it gets painted corvette red. I was thinking about corvette zr1 rims and trying to get the widest rear tires possible but can't find anyone to give me personal experience on what to use. I was considering 18's in the front and 19's in the back with bridgestone potenza re-11 tires. I was thinking of using 265/35r18 in the front and 265/35r19 in the back.
Does anyone know if these are the best fit and traction/handling choice?

alright well i work at discount tire first off. i understand that you want 265 35 18 and then 19s but that doesnt work to well with stagerred so i would suggest 245/40/18 on the front and 275 35 19 on the rear which would give you nice stagger and about the same rolling diameter front and back i would suggest the goodyear eagle gt its a nice compound tire that is going to give you alot of grip and wont completely break the bank i put up my work website with both sizes already pulled up

You could go wider if you wanted to. I had 295's on the back before i got new tires. Had a bit of rubbing on the inside of the wheelwell but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a hammer. I knew guys in Tucson that were sporting 315's on the back. A bit to expensive for my blood. Good luck and let us know what you go with. And don't forget the pics!!!!!
